Learn to do it yourself and save around £400 off the cost of registering your Trade Mark!!!

This is a 4 hour course which is part tutorial and part workshop.

The afternoon will begin at 1pm with coffee on arrival.  We will then talk about:

• What is registerable as a Trade Mark
• The meaning of the (R) and TM symbols
• The benefits and drawbacks behind each type of Trade Mark registration
• Classification of your Trade Mark
• The process of registration and the expected timescales.  This will include some syndicate exercises.
• We will then walk through the application process together one step at a time.

If you wish to actually file your trade mark at the event you will need to bring a laptop with you and a credit card to pay for the official filing fees online (£170 for the first class with £50 for each additional class of goods and services).

You do not need to file your trade mark on the day we will be walking through the process using the overhead projector and you will have fully detailed handouts to take home and follow but you may like to bring a laptop anyway in order to carry out some searching whilst waiting for other to file their Trade Marks.

The afternoon will finish at around 4.30pm

The course is being held at The Ship Inn, Thornbury Road, Alveston, Bristol BS35 3LL.  We will be in the Bristol room upstairs.
